Viviane Baroud
Lebanese painter of memory, color, and emotion
Viviane Baroud is a Lebanese painter whose work explores memory, emotion, and the quiet intensity of human experience. Moving between portraiture, scenery, interiors, still life, and symbolic composition, she transforms familiar subjects into atmospheric images shaped by color, texture, and feeling.
Viviane holds a Doctorate in Pharmacy from Saint Joseph University, a background that informs her precision, patience, and disciplined observation.
Her creative path also extended into culinary arts. After completing a culinary arts course, she won first prize for Best Taste and Best Presentation in a culinary competition organized by the Club des Jeunes Gourmets at Hotel Al Bustan in Lebanon.
She later earned both Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Fine Arts from the Lebanese University, giving formal structure to an instinctive visual language.
Across painting and craft, Viviane is drawn to composition, balance, and sensory memory. Her work brings together scientific attention, artistic intuition, and a deep sensitivity to place, gesture, and human presence.
This body of work brings together years of personal exploration, study, and dedicated artistic practice. Each artwork is an original signed piece, with commissions available upon request.
