Viviane Baroud
Lebanese painter of place, gesture, and inner life
Viviane Baroud is a Lebanese painter working across portraiture, scenery, interiors, still life, and symbolic composition. Her paintings begin with familiar subjects, then reshape them through atmosphere, gesture, and closely observed color.
Viviane holds a Doctorate in Pharmacy from Saint Joseph University, a background that informs her precision, patience, and disciplined observation.
Her creative interests also extend to the culinary arts. After completing a course in the field, she won first prize for Best Taste and Best Presentation in a competition organized by the Club des Jeunes Gourmets at Hotel Al Bustan in Lebanon.
She later earned bachelor’s and master’s degrees in fine arts from the Lebanese University.
Across painting and craft, Viviane is drawn to composition, balance, and sensory detail. Her training across science, food, and fine art brings precision and attentiveness to her practice.
